The controversy surrounding Rick Ross' date rape lyrics isn't dying down. If anything the outcry is growing louder as networks like CNN, Fox and ABC have picked up the story.
“Put molly all in her champagne / She ain’t even know it / I took her home and I enjoyed that / She ain’t even know it," Ross raps in the song “U.O.E.N.O.”
Yesterday on ABC's "The View," Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd discussed the song and what they thought should happen next.
"I think that Reebok is a trailblazer in terms
of having women and strength, their fitness and well being at the
forefront of what was going on in fitness and athletics," said Hasselbeck. "I
have no doubt that they'll do right by women with whatever happens
here. [Ross] is not their only guy. They have Alicia Keys, they have
Swizz Beatz. They have a slew of celebrities that are gonna go in there
and actually be strong by their brand and also obey their morality
clause."
